Some of our time was spent in the fish bowl (aka, sitting behind the Lego displays as people walked by), plus we were able to walk around the Con, check out some amazing art, get some new books and sit in on a few incredible author panels. I am still geeking out over "What Makes Fantasy Epic" - I'm talking Peter Orullian, Robin Hobb (swoon!), Pat Rothfuss, Peter V. Brett and Stephen Erickson. Those are some HUGE names in fantasy and it was such a treat to listen to them chat about the genre. Other panels included awesome authors like Holly Black and Myke Cole. Listening to these guys talk about their books, about writing and the business of being an author was simply awesome.
But, my ramblings about our crazy weekend aren't nearly as interesting as pictures. So, without further ado, some pictures of Emerald City Comic Con (and yeah, it's mostly the Lego).
