My last two days have been spent in hard core creative mode (and no, I don't get to float around like in Minecraft. Darn.). (A big shout out to our friends Alan and Laura for taking the minions for us for a couple of days!) David and I finished the basic outline for book two and worked on what I'd call a beat sheet. This gives a brief summary of what happens in each chapter, so when I start writing it again (I have some of it written already), I have our ideas to draw from and a good sense of what needs to happen in each scene. This book is complex, with what will hopefully be a really exciting story - lots of action, emotion, and maybe even a surprise or two. I'm SO excited to keep writing - I'm really happy with where the story is headed.
I'd post a screenshot of the outline, but that would be WAY too spoilery.
So as I head into 2015, I'm looking forward to finishing the next installment in the Echoes of Imara series and excited to see what's in store for me as an author. It has been a fun ride so far, and it only gets better from here!
Happy New Year!
P.S. A HUGE thank you to everyone who has taken the time to review the book on Amazon. It means so much to me - thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
