Will Wight is a fantasy author who just released two new books after his very successful Travelers Gate Series. Of Sea and Shadow and Of Shadow and Sea are novels that run concurrently - something of an experiment for him, I believe. They both look like exciting adventures!
Sever Bronny is an author I've gotten to know on an author forum and his young adult fantasy, Arcane, recently debuted to a great reception. This one looks like it has wide appeal, interesting to both adults and younger readers. If you're looking for a fantasy series the younger set or you enjoy a good coming-of-age story, this one might be a good fit for you.
Pauline M. Ross recently published the second book in her series, so the first installment, The Plains of Kallanash is on my to-be-read list. Another fantasy series, this one is set in a world where the secrets of magic have been lost and double marriages are the norm. With a secretive religious group and marauding barbarians, this looks to be an exciting read.
Not so much into fantasy? Check out the debut novel by Dawn Lee McKenna, See You. She calls it a love story, but not a romance, and she's already making a big splash. Set in the south, this one looks to be a book you'll need to read with a box of kleenex nearby. And maybe some chocolate.
